Story
More Than a Miracle Previous Story
To make a difference we must first believe we can.
Strange, how spring never really warmed this year.
There were none of those sun-filled days when the flowers are in bloom and we sit outside in sweaters, watching the colors change as the light falls.
Instead, it was cold and rainy. Then summer was so hot that everything dried to a dead brown. I thought of summers when delightful rain cooled us after the blazing heat of the day, and we spent balmy evenings out under the stars. This year, harsh cracks appeared in the soil, and fall rolled in cold and rainy, preparing us for an early winter that brought more snow than we’d had in years.

The unusual weather isn’t our story alone. Everywhere, people are experiencing climatic changes, including some that spell disaster. Weather changes have always been expected, but there’s a sense of sadness and loss around global warming. Every living creature is endangered by our gambling with the environment.
In each moment, we can recreate the world. Amid confusion and disarray, solutions are often close at hand. We cannot wait for a miracle; this time, the solutions must come from within.
Imagine a burst of energy, sufficiently strong to set us on a new course. It is within our power to create that energy. At each moment, our internal creative spark can ignite more than a miracle!
