This song was written while Em was on his solo Barcelona pilgrimage in 1999. He wrote this song trying to articulate how he felt about the search for his creative self—his dream.

Rediscovering his “essential self” was forming the foundation for all that would follow in building our new Partnership. The use of the term “I am” pointed to the “God within.” This was an extremely important time and musical story for both of us in our unfolding adventure.
