How well we remember those seemingly endless cold, damp days in the Montebeni apartment. Once again, we were preoccupied with construction delays, and waited to finalize the project for the studio. This song came out of the persistent waiting over those first 4 years in Italy.

Eventually everything worked out. The fever finally broke and the sun did rise on another day, without fail. In the meantime, through sheer willpower, we worked hard to change our perspective, making our waiting tolerable. Ultimately we learned once again that there’s always another day, and there’s reliable sunshine even after many cold damp days and nights in Tuscany.
