We decided to visit friends in Barcelona. Our drive through the French countryside was wonderful, as we made our way from Florence to Barcelona. Our conversations before we left had been about the work of Eckhart Tolle, and his idea about how we all become “Lost in Thought” at times. If we focus on our thoughts, memories and plans, we are NOT really present in the now, in the moment, but instead in the past and the future. By writing a song, we hoped for clearer understanding between us, and perhaps even discover some ways that we could move from the habitual mode of not being present, back into the “now.”
