The following lyric was written for the first song of what will eventually be a new album—just currently in progress. We will of course add new lyrics as we finish new music. So, there could be up to ten different lyrics here depending on where we are in the process. When complete, the collection will be renamed, and we’ll begin again, plugging in the new lyrics from the latest songs.
This process begins with the complete lyrics taken from the songs. If you’re curious for more, Just click on any of the images below, and you’ll be taken immediately to the original story and music including the lyrics. And so the story unfolds.

Back to the Introduction Forward to hold to the Heart
Meant to Be
Without knowing just why
I expected to find you someday
Knowing you are the one
Took some time, worth the wait
Without knowing your voice, I heard
Gentle tones of Sirens calling
With open arms to welcome me
Into where I’ve always longed to be
Without seeing the edge
I decided to jump from safety
Knowing you are the one
I believe love is fated
Without thinking it through, I knew
That my path would someday bring me
To open arms that welcome me
Into where I’ve always longed to be
Noted the clues, followed the mystery
Tied all the threads connecting you to me
Meant to be friends, bound to be lovers
Hearts and souls entwined
Meant to be friends, bound to be lovers
Hearts and souls entwined
Hearts and souls aligned
Without knowing the way
We have chosen to blend our journeys
With this path that we’re on
Finding joy at every turning
Without sensing just how, I see
I discovered my Destiny
With open arms that welcome me
Into where I’ve always longed to be
Just you and me
Meant to be
Just you and me
Meant to be
