The Under the Tuscan Thumb stories are from the early years of our Italian adventure—humorous, heart warming memory romps disclosing whatever came our way as we created our own tiny space in that fascinating culture.

The stories have been designated with a stylized thumb print ⋆˚꩜｡ next to the title for easy identification since they’re now integrated throughout the “Uncommon Promise” site. The actual date when stories were written doesn’t seem to matter that much since it has really been one gigantic overall experience—still unfolding to this day.

The original blog is still intact and available as part of our history together, continuing to be identified as “Under the Tuscan Thumb,” which you can visit in it’s entirety.
