We started a blog back in the early days that was intended to give our personal views of life in Tuscany—insider commentary on the Italian journey as it unfolded. It turned out to be quite entertaining for us, and ultimately became that early process of documenting the many curious, humorous and beautiful things that happened along the way. Some 20 years later, we decided to combine our efforts into the new site which was where everything in our nearly three-decade adventure would eventually reside—called “Uncommon Promise,” or “UP” for short—where you are today.The OrSite logo

The original blog is still available as part of our history together and is called “Under the Tuscan Thumb” which you can find in the UP site menu as the Collection of those original posts (clickable link).
